** Partylicious nails! **

Ciao ragazze! Buon week end!

Oggi vi propongo una manicure superfestosa realizzata per un evento molto faigo e divertente nella mia università... c'era tanta musica e tanti amici... quelli giusti. Finalmente. E' stata una notte da non dimenticare.

E anche la mia manicure non è stata da meno. Ancora la indosso e non ho proprio voglia di toglierla domani mattina, ma devo perchè devo fare degli swatches (spooooiler ^_*) e poi si è scheggiata un po'...e odio indossare manicure scheggiate! 

Ma ecco qui le mie unghiette a festa!

Hi girls! Happy weekend!

I'm here today to show you a manicure that i'm sooo proud of! I made it for the occasion of a big party in my University, to celebrate the end of the semester and the beginning of the exam session. It was something like a "wish you luck" party. It was  really fun!

But let's get into my "partylicious nails"!

Io la adoro! Brillava tantissimo alle luci della discoteca all'aperto! 

Ho usato come base il mio adoratissimo e delicato "Prelude to a kiss" di Orly (bello bello bello bello)

e sopra ho usato lo "Nail art special effect topper" (mamma mia che lungo nome XD) di Essence nella tonalità "circus confetti". Ho preso questo smalto su indicazione di Nicol (KissandMakeup sul tubo) che lo aveva paragonato allo smalto limited edition di OPI "Rainbow collection" della collezione Muppets.

I adore it! It sparkled so much at the disco lights!! 

I used my well loved Orly "prelude to a kiss" as a base and an essence glitter on top (Nail art special effect topper in the shade "Circus confetti"). This brand can be found in the US now! I bought this polish under the recommendation of an italian youtuber, KissandMakeup01, who says that it is a dupe for OPI "Rainbow collection". The glitter is pretty similar, i have to say, but the formula... mmm... not so much!

Devo dire con sincerità che la qualità di questo glitter non è paragonabile a quella degli OPI. Questi ultimi sono belli carichi di glitter, e con una sola pennellata se ne mettono tanti sull'unghia. Non si può dire la stessa cosa dell'essence. 

Se si è fortunati capitano giusto quattro glitterini e il resto è trasparente (dalla formulazione tra l'altro molto spessa). Come ho risolto l'inconveniente? trasportando lo smalto dal pennellino ad una spugnetta, che poi ho picchiettato sull'unghia fino alla distribuzione desiderata delle pagliuzze. 

Lo so... è un'operazione un po' lunghetta, ma il glitter in sé è così bello e il risultato talmente super che non me ne son curata un granchè... vai di spugnetta!

OPI glitters are usually really rich. And for "rich" i mean that you have a really good amount of glitter on your nail with just one stroke. The essence one is a little tricky to apply, since you get at most four particles at application! I fixed it by applying the glitter on a sponge and transfering it on the nail tapping on the sponge... it seems complicated, but the glitter in itself is so pretty that for me it's not so big of a deal.

Per finire ho sigillato il tutto con il top coat della Seche Vite "Ultra V", che asciuga in lampada Uv per 4 minuti... e la manicure dura tantissimo O_O!

Finally, i finish off by applying my favourite top coat of the moment, the Seche Vite "ultra V", wich dries under the UV lamp for 4 min... and the manicure gets really long lasting and extra shiny1!
